Why not? We could use a true pg to backup rondo, or hopefully challenge to start. When pierce is out of the game, they had trouble scoring, baron is a pure scorer who would fill that huge void. He's also a great locker room guy.

I don't know the specifics about signing him, but he would fit into our roster perfectly.

please no, he's done, and he's out for 8-12 weeks. Even when healthy he plays at half effort and is a chucker

Baron checked out as soon as he signed his last contract. I can't remember last time he was in basketball shape Warriors days probably. You can't count on a Baron.

Always loved loved loved Davis' talent. He coulda been one of the greatest point guard of all time but he never put the work effort into it. He plays when he wants and its been too bad.

I would take a flyer on Baron for a minimum deal.  PP and Baron are best buddies from LA so its not unrealistic that he would come to the Cs.

We all know the Cs need scoring off the bench and with Green now a health concern, why not roll the dice on Baron and put him in the role of sixth man.

Sad to her about Baron's injury. Good they caught it at a bulge then a rupture. I actually ruptured my L5 and had to have a microdisectomy. Davis's injury is very serious and could potentially jeopardize his career if surgery will inevitably be needed.

Even without the surgery I can see his rehab being 3 months at least. It takes a lot of time and work to get that bulge or hernia reduced and back in order. A lot of Physical Therapy will be required.

If he does have surgery then he is probably out for the year. One bad fall or tumble to the court could reaggravate everything. There is also almost no way he comes back from this at 100%. I had my operation at 20, it's been 4 years, and I will never be 100% again.

If he is not careful he could easily be looking at a similar fusion operation to his vertebrae down the line. Much like Peyton Manning's operation to his neck.

Is he worse then Nate?

That is the role he would play here.

Who would people rather have:

Nate Robinson or Baron Davis?

I think it was the contract before that.

I hear that.  I watch the Clippers every so often and am marveled at the 3 pointers he puts up sometimes. I could understand if they were desperation 3's.
