Kirilenko is still in Moscow...would he consider the Cs?

The Sacramento Bee is reporting that AK47 is happy playing (for now) for CSKA in Moscow, but may consider returning to the NBA and perhaps to the Kings.  This makes sense since they have cap space, but can't DA try to sell him on playing for a contender in the shortened season.

Imagine a fourth-quarter lineup of KG, AK 47 and Green, with Pierce and Rondo in the back court.  That would be very tough for teams to match up against.

Two different sources told me earlier tonight that former Utah Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko, who is currently under contract with CSKA Moscow (but has an out clause effective for 30 days), would seriously consider signing with the Kings if he returns to the NBA. The catch is that the wiry, athletic Kirilenko, a native of St. Petersburg who would be a wonderful complement to a frontline featuring DeMarcus Cousins and John Salmons, is thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to play in his native Russia. Unlike the other NBA players who returned to the United States shortly after the lockout ended, Kirilenko stayed with CSKA. One scenario is that he remains overseas for the shortened season and returns to the NBA next year.

Kirilenko would be fantastic with Dwight Howard.

I would be worried about him with Brook Lopez though. Not enough rebounding between the two of them for my liking. That said, I suppose I'd probably still do it anyway. Too much fun/talent offensively and defensively to walk away from.

Why on Earth would we need Kirilenko? PF is already overbooked, and the third of our roster is SF, and Pierce has dibs on 90% of the time on that position!

AK47 / Dwight Howard frontcourt would cover all the bases defensively.  that would be fun to see, especially with D-Will getting them the ball on offense.

He really would make a fine David West consolation prize if we could foist off a similar trade package on Utah.

You'd think he'd be excited about the role he could have in Boston: starting and playing the quick 4 alongside 4 all-stars.  It's just the perfect match for his game.

Not sure how much incentive Utah would require to take on JO's contract.  Or if there's a third team willing to take JO in return for a pick.

Obviously you could sub out Green for Ray depending on the team.  The attraction of the KG-AK47-Green front court is that it is long and athletic and would give the Cs a totally different look than they have now.
