first and foremost, good for marquis and his family. it means his life and health are better.
second, good for the celtics that marquis might be able to stay healthy and play even better. i liked him on the celtics before. i thought his defense, team play, ball movement were positives. his scoring was not important and he was willing to give up points to help the team.
if he stays healthy, then he can help lead a bench with green, bass, and dooling. depth is going to be very important this season for the celtics given the age of the big 3 and the large number of back-to-back games they must play. (something in the area of 20 back-to-backs i think.)
