This is what happens to players who don't get mad and throw water bottles or ice tea containers at video screens.

I know your wrist was hurt most of the year but you only need one hand to throw.

You know what is worse than someone throwing a temper tantrum in the lockerroom?

Someone throwing one on the internet.

Ridiculous thread.

C's with one fewer brittle, injury waiting to happen player is good as far as I am concerned.  They have Quis and JO to worry about already.  Good non-move by Ainge.

I really love the way West plays, but I realize business is business and wish him the best.

Would've preferred him to Dooling (especially with West's range).

The mods need to fix the title of this thread. It reads "Celtics let Delonte West Go", it should read "Celtics let Delonte go West"

Now let me say I love me some REDZ but... you are talking bottle throwing (RR) but REDZ had guns about to H.A.M. on someone and had a FIST FIGHT with Wafer in the Celtics facility??? Yep, he is the ultimate great guy off the court  ::)! With that said, I'll truly miss my guy :'(!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Rondo's immaturity is far less serious than West's behavioral issues, West has a documented medical issue.

Yup.  Rondo's immaturity is liable to give Doc a headache.  West always has the potential to end up in jail...or worse.

I wouldn't care if Rondo threw a Molotov. Rondo >>>> Delonte.

The problem with Delonte West wasn't ever how he played but how often he played.  That's the story of his career.

I wish him well but wee need someone more reliable off our bench.

Delonte is up there on my least favorite Celtics ever list... He was there in his first stint, and went higher up the list during his second stint. Ill send him a generous care package.

I actually like West, but he's often injured and is not really a decent back up point guard. While his ball handling isn't terrible, he can't deliver a simple entry pass without it being stolen. To be honest, he's not good at passing the ball at all. I think he plays hard, when not hurt. Is a decent defender and can score a bit, but I prefer Dooling as he's a real point second point guard, which I believe this team has been lacking for some time.
