The chemistry and the timing will be significantly off and there will not be much time to practice with 66 games in 144 days. Teams that are young or that have undergone significant personnel changes are at a serious handicap. The Play will not be of high quaility to start with but teams will have to make do.

Our challenge will be to get off to a good start because starting in March the schedule gets brutal with a very tough road trip and then shortly after is a 5 game in 6 night stint in early April that could be the difference between a top 3 seed or having to open on the road.

This will be a year of transition for a goodly number of teams both up and down. I hope to hang on and mount a decent playoff campaign in 2012 for the Celtics.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

  • You say when......
I wasn't realy talking to you, seeing as though you expressed you idea n a professonal manner....There is plenty of diff between being a regular guy who is "n Shape" and being a pro bball player and being in basketball shape....but, i still believe they have every reason to be more ready than having to take a rest after 1 minute or two of 5 on 5 scrimmage...THAT is not even near ready....if a player cannot run 10 laps of full court, they aren't ready to play on MY team, never mind an NBA team...
