Depending how bad the murmur is, this is probably nothing major.  But anything involving heart problems and the C's makes me unneasy.

Meh, there are heart murmurs and there are heart murmurs.  I've got one -- it is a really minor thing.

We don't.  I would recommend that until it is reported by a reputed source, then everyone assume this is not true.

Not trying to be rude but looking at the screen name of the original poster and the lack of a source, I'm not exactly ready to accept this as fact.

Could be due to anything but major. Having played basketball through a ton of hours since childhood, Jeff could be ok. Unless he developed a heart ailment that had gone unnoticed since his OKC days then that would worry us. He has to go through a battery of tests though to rule any major heart disease. As it is, the finding could be minor and that it wouldn't appear to affect Jeff's hemodynamics.
