and thereby danny has secured number 18 for us all.  :P
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I'm assuming its a vet min. deal. No word on our mini-MLE yet...I wonder what Danny is up to or if he plans to use it at all this year.

he is stupid if he doesn't. right now this bench stinks

I don't know if I would go that far, Bass and Green are obviously the best so far but there's some solid guys off the bench too. Wilcox is a pretty good bench guy and so is Dooling. I think it's pretty average so far but that all depends how Green and Bass play. I think Bass will fit here better than with the Magic. I'm also better Green will be much improved from what we saw out of him last year as well.

Then if Bradley or the rookies can contribute that would make the bench pretty good. Like I said not super but not crap either. I bet that bench can beat CLE lol.

bradley is gabe pruitt part II. he will be in the D league by the first of the year

Lets hope it does not mean that Green is going somewhere. Also not sure what it means regarding Delonte.

green can't go anywhere for a while.

it likely means no delonte, though.  and the mini-MLE will almost certainly be spent on a center.  my guess is Kwame.

he will never get in a game IMO..just a practice body. would like to see some guys signed that will actually contribute...

IMO doc will play dooling, daniels, green, bass and wilcox off the bench...bradley,moore, johnson, sasha will never see the floor

Blah.  There are worse options for the 3rd string.

Rondo/Dooling/Bradley
Ray/Daniels/Moore
Pierce/Green/Pavlovic
KG/Bass/JJ
JO/Wilcox/?

Looks like 1 spot left.

would be nice to have a center off the bench...a big? but danny will elect to go get another washed up scrub like sasha

You are forgetting the big shot blocking D league kid.
Seistema (sp?). He is probably not guaranteed; however, have to hope there is some other flexibility built into some of these contracts.

Yeah but this is just for the worst case scenario. Just think its kind of funny everyone's getting worked up over this.

This signing is meaningless if we don't use his shooting off the bench.

If Doc doesn't play these guys, we can't utilize their strengths.

I'd lean toward JR Giddens.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

been that way forever with Doc...he only trusts his guys..therefore boston never develops young players...fear johnson and moore are year long spectators when they might help

  • Let's Go Celtics!
Yesterday, we were dreaming of David West. Today we have.... Sasha Pavlovic?

My goodness. Listen, I love this team. Always will. I'm going to here through thick and thin. But if I tried to say I wasn't incredibly disappointed and less than optimistic about this season, I'd be lying. As of right now, I'm not placing any expectations on this season. I'm just going to enjoy whatever success we have this season, and roll with hardships.

I dont understand why everyone is so negative on this signing....its just a depth signing in case Marquis goes down.
