According to A. Sherrod Blakely.

Apparently the third team wants no part of JO.

Can you blame them? Hopefully Danny has some other options to bring him in. Danny seems very determined this season, and I feel even if the West deal falls through, he still has yet another scenario to heat the phones up with. Let's hope that's true...

He has already made it clear that he will retire or go to a contender. Combine that with his fragile body and you can see why he wouldn't be attractive.

Wojnarowski said we're waiting on the NBA. Conflicting reports much?

Yeah, I believe Wojo more than Sherrod Blakely. Chris Mannix and Ken Berger too said the same thing...waiting for CP3 trade outcome.

Trying to follow the twitter feeds is mind boggling this past week. Maybe I'm just to optimistic, but I tend to hold Wojo's sources higher than anyone's, even our boy Sherrod's. Wouldn't be surprised though to see wojo retweet that..

Did you hear this on TV? I'm not seeing it on csnne.com or on Blakely's twitter feed.

I think the deal is already being held up pending the Chris Paul deal under review with the league - so I wouldn't even expect movement until that happens

have a feeling things will happen quickly when it does

I was afraid this could be a "sounds too good to be true it usually is" scenario =/  Hopefully it works out.

Since this was announced yesterday, you have not heard David West mentioned with any other team or in discussion with anyone else. This thing seems to be done and the only thing holding it up is the hornets trying to pull off the CP3 trade. A. Sherrod Blakely was saying yesterday that Jeff Green was going to go in the trade, before Wojo named the names. This thing is still on until Wojo or Spears say otherwise. This isnt the only deal being held up by CP3.
If this deal was a no go you would think we would hear West's name mentioned with other teams, etc. If JO is the only thing holding up this trade, that is something danny ainge can work around. Rasheed Wallace is on the books for the same amount. All he would have to do is trade that contract and the Hornet could cut him.

We can't trade Bass (in combination with other players) for 30 days, I believe.
