I see lots of people saying ohh great West can take most of KG's minutes keeping him rested. We will have instant offense he's a All Star etc I do agree but only if he were not coming off major knee surgery.

Is anybody not worried that the knee may take 1-2 years for him to fully heal?

This whole year he could and most likely will not be very mobile or strong and be hobbling around. We may only end up getting 1 good year out of him, is it worth the 20 some 30 million for him?

Yep, but it's worth the risk.

Not a lot of other options out there and David West is a real difference maker when healthy. Even if he is slowed down some, he should still be a quality part of the team.

My Wife says that you can come back in this time frame if things go right, and they are a quick healer. So there is some concern, but Dany isn't a fan of bad knees, and he seems not to be worried.

Unless the West trade is for some thing else....
