I would not want him back at all.

I think he's too cooked to be useful at all; i think a same-sized d-leaguer would be a net positive over him. However, if he were on the roster at all, I think due to rep and friendship he'd get the nod over such a d-leaguer/rookie, and end up hurting the team in emergency situations.

I think that's about what he'd bring at this point, yeah.  There's no doubt he's a good presence in the locker room.

  Even better, the big three get their pregame man-hugs back, and the cap takes no hit whatsoever. Doesn't even cost us a roster spot. Win-win.
