PG) Rondo, Dooling, Bradley
SG) Ray, Marquis, Moore
SF) Pierce, Green, (Maybe Gilbert Brown)
PF) KG, Bass, JJJ
C) JO, Wilcox

So if we do end up signing Gilbert Brown, we have one spot left on the roster, and we haven't used the Mini-MLE. What do we need left? Another shooter would be great but so would someone like Aaron Gray and Pryzbilla. Now for my real question..

Has anyone heard anything about Delonte?? Far as I know Danny hasn't even contacted him.

i would take pryzz and rip. pryzz is defensive minded and a monster rebounder rip hamilton and ray allen combo will give teams headaches

I think Kwame is priority #1 with the MMLE. Then BPA for whoever will take the min.

Another question here, can we assign Brown and Moore to the D-League? That would keep them on the roster but free up two spots. Plus Dalembert is still available, should we go at him for the Mini-MLE?

D League assignments count towards your roster capacity.

Sending someone to the DLeague doesn't free up spots unless you give up your rights to the player.

Okay thanks. Any possibility Danny is trying to get Dalembert or another center with the mini-MLE? I'm surprised we still have it to fill out our last roster spot.

I was going to say go all in with the MMLE for another shooter like Rip, but the more I think about it I'm with Bo on this one.

Priority 1 should be another legit big man. There is no way we are relying on JO for the grueling 66 game schedule Adolph Stern has put together for us.

The latest I've heard on Pryz is that he's considering retirement. I think Gray will likely garner more than we can offer. As much as I hate to say it, Kwame may be our best option, assuming he doesn't go back to CHA. In a reserve role at small money I think he would represent good value.

I'd be happy with Aaron Gray or Kyrylo Fesenko.

Strategy-wise, it seemed like a fairly interesting question. If you can only sign 1 FA to the mini mle and the rest to the vet min, what's the best approach? Do you first sign the best player you can get with the mle and then fill out your roster? Do you sign as many players as you can to the vet min, saving the mle for someone who you want who won't take the min? Apparently Ainge went with the latter.

I wonder how much money the other contending teams have. If they all spend their money, maybe you hold onto it to see if any vets get bought out in the spring or if anyone comes over from europe/china.

I'd see what else we can get before we sign West.  He isn't very durable and we know what we have in him.   I'd see what else we can get first.  I'd rather have Rip than West and it is not even close. Ditto for Billups.
