Rip Hamilton has been waived by the Pistons. Will be bought out. Not an amnesty transaction.

I'd be all for us scooping Rip up, there would be no drop off from Ray to Rip at the two.

Chicago is probably going to make a bid for him.

Pistons still have the amnesty bullet to use.

I think he is going to Chicago, makes too much sense for them - and for him - not to happen but who knows?

There's no way Billups will go somewhere as a backup. Probably the same for Hamilton -- I can see someone such as Chicago scooping him up to start at the SG spot.

I agree...but I wonder if either would agree to come off the bench at this point in their career.  The Cs starters are going to need long breathers on the back-to-back-to-back nights that's for sure!

Chicago seems more interested in Jamal Crawford and are exploring S&T opportunities.

Mirror, LOL. Comedy gold!

Edit: Perhaps a call from the governor: Pistons are said to want to see how CV is with the new coaching staff.
