Any thoughts where he'll end up at? Think he can score for us off the bench?

With a CP3 deal almost certainly dead, Ainge should take a look at any and all amnesty victims.

He'd be a good fit here as a guy who can create a bit of offense off the bench and he's still a solid 3 point shooter.

Vince and Pierce are prime examples of the aging theory (athletic players vs. skilled) in the NBA. At the beginning of their careers, Vince was considered the better player, but Pierce continued to improve. Now, Paul is the leader of our team and most people probably don't even want Vince on our bench...

A non-contender ... some playoff team that falsely believes they are close to making a title run and thinks Vince can really help them.

Maybe New York.

Since Vince beat out Paul for the ROY and was drafted a few slots earlier when Paul slid for no real reason (what was that team thinking taking Larry Hughes over him. My brothers and I screamed when we realized we could get him) back in the day it would be a tad bit cute to have them together and like Vince would have to look up to Paul.

I'm not sure who I would want on the Celtics less Vince Carter or Allen Iverson. And I know for sure that I might have to stop following the Celtics if AI was ever signed to the team so I think that describes just how much I am against ever bringing him here.

Vince was largely a dunker (better athlete)  I would pick Pierce  (better shooter) to make a shot if my life depended on it over VC.

Carter has been on some good teams that could not win a title and PP was instrumental in 2008.  I think Vince is over rated and I always will.

I don't think it's even a question.  Carter averaged 14 ppg last year, and is only two seasons removed from putting up 20 ppg.

I realize that Carter is flawed, but on a team with few options, I'd strongly consider him if he was willing to sign for the minimum.

While he isn't what he was, a second team of Dooling, Carter, Green, Bass, and Wilcox would be pretty darn good.

For the bench, sure.
