Gilbert Arenas has been released by the Orlando Magic according to Magic.com

The Magic have used their Amnesty clause on him

If i was Danny Ainge i would be on the phone right now trying to bring him to Boston!

Why wow? are you seriously suggesting you didn't see this coming? Everybody knew this was going to happen. I don't see who picks up Arenas definitely won't be the Celtics though, atleast I hope not.

Didn't Gilbert say something negative about Boston? Something like he would drop 100 on Boston. I vaguely remember this from opening night a few years ago, possibly 2009?

I think he said something like the celtics "aren't that good" right before opening night.  Every time he touched the ball that night, he got booed maybe louder than anyone I've ever hear get booed in the Garden.
