Otis Smith is clueless...  BBD should never be given a contract for that length...I don't see him having the same drive/determination he did when he was actually playing for a new contract on a bi-yearly basis.  Their soap opera will be fun to sit back and watch.

Agreed, that was smart how the Celtics always handled his short contracts.  Also keep in mind he played on a much better team with much better teammates including one who would rather pass out of a layup than shoot it sometimes.  We were always in contention for the title, so that had to light a fire under him.  He saw playoff success when KG went down.

Now?  Orlando seems like it will be middle of the pack at best.
