nene will play power forward, methinks.

d-will, nene, howard . . . i like that team.

let's hope the tampering thing doesn't prevent them from trading for dwight.

They could still make a trade for Howard depending on the money involved.

But given the tampering charges now being leveled, Howard might be impossible for them at this point.

Not officially, merely an offer.

Houston will probably not match that payday. Will Indiana?

Nene is not worth that type of change ($60-65mil, four years).

no, but that's the type of money he was going to get all along.  nba centers get paid a ridic. amount.

As of now he should be a PF. The Nets can still amnesty Outlaw and be below the cap by 7 mill.

Jason Richardson maybe?

There was a rumour that Josh Howard was going to go wherever Nene decided to go.

So J.Howard might be the Nets next signing.

meh, isn't josh howard basically washed up at this point?

j-rich would be a better signing for them -- though i have to think there's a good chance he goes to the bulls for a very solid chance at a ring.

yeah, j-rich is exactly the sort of shooting guard they desperately needed last year.  he could score 15-20 points a game playing off derrick rose, and he's not awful defensively, either.

if boozer actually plays up to expectations this year and the bulls have j-rich and deng playing healthy and productive on the wing, they could definitely take the next step to top contender (last year i think they were close and they had the best record but their offense wasn't quite there).

Howard was still coming back from a knee injury last year, and hadn't gotten his explosiveness back.  This year will be telling, whether he responds like Arenas or Amare.

I wouldn't go near either one of them if I were NJ.

Teams should be pursuing Nick Young instead of J.Richardson. Younger, better scorer. A solid man-to-man defender who with some time could be become an average team defender also.

Jason Richardson is already in decline. In those final years of their respective deals, it isn't even going to be close, Nick Young is going to be the far superior player.

He's restricted and Wizards will likely match any offer.
