Vince Carter
Kris Humphires

Plus if we land Chris Wilcox, and Brandon Bass, we have some things going for us

Rondo/Dooling
Allen/Pierce/Green/Carter/Quise/Moore/Bradley
KG/Wilcox/Humphries/Bass/Johnson/O'Neil

actually it may have to involve giving up Jeff Green to land Humphries

To be honest I wouldn't mind helping Jersey get Dwight Howard in some thee team deal sending glen Davis to orlando, dwight to NJ while we pick up some solid people for our bench

I would never ever ever ever ever want Vince Carter on the Celtics.

Just my personal opinion of the guy. He doesnt compete.

Humphries is probably going to cost more then the MLE the Celtics have available.

I'd love Vince Carter for the vet min to score off the bench. So far we have almost no scoring off the bench.

Humphries would be great for the MLE but I think he'll probably get closer to 3x that per year.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I think VC is the most overrated and disappointing player in NBA history. But I'd still take him on the team. Cs could really use some scoring off the bench, especially if they go with Quis as Ray's backup. 15 minutes a game as Pierce's backup works for me. (It's also kind of poetic justice.)

Vince Carter = Anti-Celic

Everything he represents goes against everything that the Boston Celtics represents. All sizzle, no steak.

I lost all respect to Humphries following his offseason foolishness...  Not a fan of guys doing reality TV shows while simultaneously playing basketball.

Like someone said, Carter doesn't compete.  Plus he's just not that good anymore.

I'd really like Humphries, although we don't need him as badly if we get Bass.

Humphries is highly overrated right now after putting up double double numbers on a terrible team. I highly doubt he keeps that production up on a good team. He doesn't ever appear to dominate ... at least from the tiny bit I've seen him play. Def a good pick up at a cheap rate like the $3M he got last year.

VC ... sure, at the vet min or $3M for 1 year. Otherwise, move on. We will have pierce and green to occupy the 3. I guess he could back up Ray at the 2.

Exactly.  I claim to hate Lamar Odom for it, so I have to hate on KH too....at least his wasn't DURING the season like Lamar's though

I don't know if this is a sign of how far we've sunk in spirit, but the first thing that popped into my mind was "At least he has sizzle"

In a wonderful world VC would take less money to play with consumate pros and help us. If he would take a role player spot and committ to defense he could definitely help us. That would be a big 4.5 at least right there.

Still wouldn't have a center though, although I think it would become easier to get one.

I have no hope of landing Kris H

1) He is out to lunch when the post season comes around

2) Vince Carter probably still feels that he is at least a MLE player, probably higher value.

3)VC will want to start with whatever team he signs with.

Now OTOH, if the Lakers Amnesty Metta World Peace/Ron Artest then that is a guy I would take a look at to be our 6th man.

KR would be the perfect back-up 4-5 for this team. But with signing of Bass, doubt we would pursue, plus don't have the cash.
