I think he'd be a good fit. Dont think Miami will be interested in resigning him with Battier on board.

I've always thought he was underrated.

Competes on defense, cant rebound but he could knock down the 3 for sure.

Yeah, I think having a point guard like Rondo would make him even more effective too

Love him for the minimum.....all these threads are starting to make me think so many good players are going to have to take so much less money.

Yeah, I'd be happy to add James Jones to the bench. Decent role player.

Brings a much needed skill-set to the table (perimeter shooting).

i was hoping it was james jones the wr. he cant be worse than ochostinko.

as for james jones the bball player, i suppose for a vet min deal he could be a nice role player. but i dont think it's realistic. i think he stays in miami. he's a miami kid. i dont think he goes anywhere else.
