With the Roster we have and looks to be adding no big name FA, I just don't know how we will compete with the Heat this year. New York still doesn't scare me but I just don't know how we could get past the Heat. It sucks for me to say this too. I hate the Heat hell I live in south florida and all I here is how great they are. I truley believe that Chris Paul could have been that guy to carry us past the heat. Unless Rondo really steps his game up. Idk just a lot at hand right now, Danny has to agree that we cant do much with this roster as is.

I kind of agree. But, and I keep going back to this, we were a lot closer to beating the Heat last year than it appears. Injuries killed us, but so did poor officiating in the first game, unaggressive play by Garnett at bad times, and LeBron just going insane on three-pointers, at an astronomically unsustainable rate.

I feel heartened by our chances this year with a similar lineup because I saw the way Pierce played in that series, the way Garnett played at certain times, and that Rondo was seriously injured.

To me, it all depends on Rondo's improvement. If he gets to the basket with great regularity and starts hitting 65% of his free throws, we can beat anyone.
