Thunder GM Sam Presti released the following statement in regards to the status of Nate Robinson.

“In collaboration with Nate Robinson and his representatives, we have mutually agreed to continue working toward clarifying his future status with the Thunder. Nate is an accomplished player, but with the current composition of our roster, it will be unlikely he will have an opportunity to contribute on a nightly basis. Given the compressed period of time that we have been given to work through the current situation, it has been decided that Nate will not attend training camp while we work with his representatives to resolve the situation. We will not be commenting on this subject further but will provide notification when a resolution is reached.”

If he gets cut, should we try and get him?

we got a look at nate robinson already.  i'm cool with a combo of bradley and dooling as our backup PG platoon this season.

If Delonte West leaves, definitely, yeah, Nate Robinson would be one of the best backup PGs on the market.

Slim pickings out there.

So would I.  Personally, I'd rather have him than Delonte West.

"Enthusiasm" can never be quantified, but if any player's enthusiasm on the bench can ever really positively affect a team, Nate is definitely one of of the players who leads the league in that category.

Is Billups a reasonable pick up for the C's, in your opinion? I definitely want Delonte back, but I could do without Nate unless he really is the best option left.

No, I don't think so. I can't see Billups coming here to be Rajon Rondo's backup.

Chauncey is still a top ten PG in this league. He can get a starting gig on another contender. Like the LA Lakers. Play 35 minutes a night. I would be very surprised if Chauncey considered coming to Boston. The minutes just aren't there.

I would happily take both of them back. I still think that could have been a very good combination off the bench in the backcourt.

Other PG options -- JJ Barea ... Ronnie Price, Anthony Carter, Earl Watson, Carlos Arroyo, Marcus Banks, Earl Boykins and maybe Acie Law depending on whether his Euro contract has an out clause.

I think Nate Robinson is more talented than every player listed after JJ Barea. Nate didn't give a good account of himself last time around in Boston but I think Doc can get a little more out of him in the future.

If Nate was a non-starter as a backup PG and we lost Delonte West, I'd look to Ronnie Price. He'd be my next choice. I have always loved Ronnie's infectious energy, quality defense/rebounding and explosive athleticism.

I don't see him going to Fakers. Despite that both would likely want that.

I believe that he and any other amnestied player must clear waivers first and can be signed by teams under the cap first and then teams overthe cap.

Don't think that it's likely, however, I didn't think that the Fakers could have almost gotten CP3.

Yeah he'd be perfect off our bench - ESPECIALLY if we don't bring Delonte back for some stupid reason

For the minimum... I feel like no one was really all that devastated to see him go to OKC. He had good stretches but they were few and far between..
