In all the news about CP3 and Chandler, I read that the NYKnicks may waive Billups. What are the pros and cons about trying to pick him up?  Even if he is a little long in the tooth I still dig his game.  There's a lot of ifs and I can't say I'd even want to see a deal done, but there are sure worse ideas (and players) out there.

It'd be nice to have him back in Boston, but we just traded for Dooling...

Billups isn't going to come here. Not enough minutes.

Much better for him to go to the Lakers or to Miami where he can be a starter and play 35 minutes a night.

Even weirder, I am not a Pistons fan, but Bill Laimbeer is one of my favorite non-Celtics in NBA history.

Teams under the cap has dibs.  I would guess Denver would put in  a bid because he is a hometown hero (and not in china), Timberwolves as a mentor for Rubio, and Utah so they don't have to start Devin Harris.

Man, I thought I was affected by that moment..... I mean my daughters can all recite THAT PLAY from the 1987 ECF game 5 with one second left in double OT.
