If what everyone thinks is going on, is really going on, and Dwight Howard and CP3 are planning on meeting in LA, then this could look a lot worse for the league

There isnt really a way to stop this, even though the league is trying its hardest right now.

You could let this trade happen, and let the other domino fall in the offseason.

Ooorr we could go through a season and see just how much of an under the table deal this was.  If you were the Lakers would you now go out of your way to facilitate trades for Odom, Gasol, and Bynum for expiring contracts and picks because you already know D12 and Chris Paul are coming, even at a reduced price?

If it could really play out this way, it'll look even worse for the league IMO because all the collusion that could have been going on we'll be right in front of everyones faces.

I also find it particularly comical that this is going on right after the lockout ends.  We're all back in the same place we were before we missed half the season
