I though he was 40 - but he's only 31.  Dooling is a decent vet back-up 1/2.  Can play some D.   And it's Keyon.

You can't "give" Delonte a trade exception. It doesn't work that way.

I wouldn't jump to the conclusion this means no on Delonte.  We only what 6 guys signed right now?  So we have a LOT of roster spots to fill.  And Bradley is most likely not ready for the NBA.  If he is slotted to get regular minutes are team is in trouble.

Major downgrade. Delonte is one of the best backup guards in the league. Dooling is a low level backup PG to high level third string PG.

Exactly.

Carlos Arroyo didn't mean the end of Delonte West last season, did he?

Whether Delonte accepts Ainge's offer remains to be seen. But I'd be shocked if there was no attempt to bring Delonte back.
