I I know it has been brought up here many times before, but I think it could make a ton of sense now. If the c's traded for him they would be at about  45 mil under contract for the 2012 season. This leaves them about 13 mil to go after free agents next year. I dont think there is any chance of Howard coming here through free agency now anyways. Big Al's contract ends after next season so the c's could still have money to sign a max free agent a few years from now.

Rondo, Ray, PP,KG Big AL is a killer starting lineup.

we could offer Green and BBD along with pieces for Big al...

hypothetical lineup

pg: rondo / west
sg: ray   / Vet min / Bradley
sf: PP    / Daniels
PF: KG    / Johnson
 C: Big AL/ JO

Thats a pretty solid roster, but probably ECF at best ?

I mean yea, I'd do that trade in a heartbeat.

But I don't think Utah is interested in trading a very good starting center for two bench players...what's there motivation?

Especially since they can just sign Davis if they want to.

That's humorous.

But why aim low -- let's offer Green, Davis, and pieces for Dwight Howard.

Please no, he can't defend anything under the rim, low post defense is terrible.

when will people stop putting Daniels in as PP's back up? he cannot make it through a season. Haven't you learned from the last 2 seasons?

I'd trade for Jefferson but not sure we have anything Utah wants.

Rondo, Green and BBD (S&T) for Al and Devin Harris.

Al
KG
PP
RA
DH

Team can score.   Still cap healthy after 2012 with Al and DH expiring after 2013.

I don't like it.

JO and Green for Al Jeff? Enes Kanter is going to be their starting center and JO would be a good mentor.
