Is Pathetic all of a sudden. Wow.  If they don't Get DH-12 then what?

They have Bynum who is good for half the season, what else?

Luke Walton! Theo Ratliff! Devin Ebanks! Ater Majok!

As of right now they have the worst frontcourt in the NBA period. With Bynum. They had to shake it up, but if they don't land Howard, I don't like this deal for them at all.

What's the chance Dwight goes to LA. Right now I give it 60% chance.

If they don't get him the better get a plan B.

And what play Dwight at PF? Thet need to get a big time PF if they want to win it all.

Best free agent power forwards -- Kenyon Martin (China), Carl Landry (full MLE), Glen Davis, Chris Wilcox, Craig Smith, Troy Murphy, Earl Clark, Josh Powell, Leon Powe, Pops Mensah-Bonsu.

It'll be interesting to see which direction they go in here.

The Lakers armed with the mini-MLE and minimum contracts. I think you could make a pretty strong case for Glen Davis to be at the top of their FA wishlist. Neither C.Wilcox or C.Smith have adequate jump shots. Troy Murphy does and could also be near the top of their targets. Then bring in one of the final four names as a third string PF (Mensah-Bonsu!).

Leon Powe worked out with them yesterday.

Won't Dwight and Chris Paul eat up cap space?

I'm just curious as to how the Heat and the Lakers pan out. The Heat's destiny is now tied to how well their three...players mesh and improve. Would the same go for the Lakers?

What won the last few championships was depth. The Heat got so far but had to rely on their three big contracts to stay hot (Breaking Rondo's arm and Shaq being benched helped). I wonder how these super teams will last.

I like your spin -- it makes me feel better.  However, I would have been happy to have CP on the C's with our fragile frontcourt of JO, KG and BBD.

Unfortunately, I end up hoping that 2011-12 becomes the year of the bad knee.  After that, ugh, I root for the Heat.

I'd give LA about an 90% chance of getting D12 now.  Kobe and CP3 are a great core (kobe is aging, buthis game is aging very well), and basically every player would love to be playing in LA if circumstances were anywhere near equal.  Everyone said Miami couldnt put a bench together after their big 3, and they put together a very good bench to me.  I think it will be even easier in LA.

I am willing to bet my membership on this board that Dwight Howard will be a Laker sometime in the next year.
