Kevin Martin = doesn't play defense, doesn't rebound and doesn't have any added value as a passer. True, he's a very talented scorer. I love his efficiency too. But he simply does not contribute enough in non-scoring areas to be a piece you build around.

Pau Gasol > Luis Scola + Kevin Martin
Looks like the rest of the league's owners agree with Roy that it was a lopsided trade and that Scola isn't that much different than Gasol because otherwise there's no reason to veto this trade.

Well, unless of course you consider Stern's admission to his favorite team being the Lakers and that the Lakers are easily getting the best part of this deal and are owned by Stern.

LA gets lucky because they are the Yankees of the NBA. They are the team that the league likes to promote and it has been that way since the Showtime Era.

Maybe .......for once justice will be served  ..........

This super stars all going to 2-4 teams has to stop or the NBA will be wrecked....Stern has to come in a put a stop to it...at some point...the underhanded ness of letting the same team get away with all the best plays the last 20 years is crazy .
It starts to stink ..

this wont stop anything.  the only reason this is happening is bc the league owns the hornets, so all the owners have a say.

if CP was on any other team besides the Hornets, I dont think we'd be having this convo
