yup, will be awesome watching him run around in a funk for the next few months after these trade discussions.

totally looking forward to face palming after each of his many missed / passed up jumpshots.

Don't know how anyone could be happy about keeping Rondo. He is not the future of this team, when there is no one around him that can score next year, you have a PG who can't shoot, and no one to pass it to.

Great.

its possible these trade rumors will motivate Rondo...we know the guy has a dislike for CP3

Paul wouldn't of won nothing this season and then would of bounced. Rondo is a Celtic.

The only way the news could have been better is if LA had to trade Bynum.  But I am happy.  The Lakers better hope that Kobe's knee treatment works.  They're going to need it for their starting point guard, shooting guard and center.
People who don't like Rondo can become Laker fans or Nets fans there's lots of options.  Me I'll take the Rondo all day.  Just hilarious that Chris Paul after being a hero and taking the Lakers to 6 games now joins them.  Unbelievable.

It's not hate, I love rajon too.

But i think it's reasonable to question trying to build a team around a defensive PG who shoots 50% from the Free Throw line.

Thats pretty much what we are left with now. I was all for the Paul trade because While i see Rondo as a dynamite 3rd piece on a championship team with two other scores, I think he is an awful, awful building block for a team in rebuilding mode.

Rajon Rondo is the end to a rebuilding process, not the start of it.

Rondo wants to play here unlike busted knee Paul or Dwight Coward.

You can easily build around rondo theres a ton of talent that would play with this kid. cp3 would leave us any way and we be left with nothing. josh smith being one of them maybe rudy gay. rondo needs athleticism around him  players that want to run!

Let me know a playoffs series where rondo didnt show up. Hes a monster in the post season because he goes all out he runs regardless he just needs some wings that will do the same

glad my rondo love worked!
so now that danny has missed out on hill, battier, dunleavy etc etc chasing paul and giving up way to much to try and get him....who do we sign to strengthen our good TEAM

need rebounders, either true pf (have high hopes for JJ) with size or center
also instant athletic offense off bench

nba is changing back to running teams, no dominate big men

I love Rondo. He's the most exciting player in the association imo.

But he kills us late in games as more and more teams play the Phil Jackson/Kurt Rambis junk defense, and I can't blame them.

So... I'm not satisfied with standing pat with this roster. We don't win a title with this line-up, barring some major meltdown or injury plague.

Give Danny credit for swinging for the fences. On to plan B.

totally looking forward to face palming after each of his many missed / passed up jumpshots.

Because that's exatly what happened when he almost was traded for Gay/Conley Jr. before he resigned.   ::)

Right, because it's not like he has a history of being an emotional player who is effected by off the court issues.

He didn't sulk like a child and play like crap after perk got traded last year, not at all  ::)
