Interesting, I'm curious to how evenly and frequently they will follow these new bullet points. It is going to be telling if shooting fouls actually go down for some of the players best known for these moves.

No more Paul Pierce bumping into a player moving then taking his shot then?

I'm glad that rip-through move is getting downgraded to a non-shooting foul.  I hated watching Durant get 3 free throws out of that every other game.  Such a cheap trick.

Is the NBA really trying to fix the game or what?

These ideas are kinda anti-WWE haha.

IF the offensive player initiates the contact, it should be an offensive foul....not rewards at the FT line or defensive foul.

i'm ok with the rip-thru move being downgraded.  it's hard enough as it is with all these touch-fouls these days to play defense - although this rule directly impacts #34 negatively.

the traveling calls i dont put much stake in.   i can see refs lookign to make that call early in the season but then a return to normalcy soon-there-after.  players these days are just too athletic and quick for refs to be cognisant of what foot they may have hopped onto to/off-of.
