Scott Schroeder of Ridiculous Upside has confirmed three Celtics training camp invitees in addition to the already discussed Gilbert Brown.

Ralph Sampson's cousin, world-traveler, Jamal Sampson, a 2002 Jazz second round pick, twenty-eight years old, 6'11.

Former Wisconsin Badger, Greg Stiemsma, twenty-six year old 6'11 shot-blocking specialist of the Sioux Falls Skyforce. He spent last year playing in Turkey.

And 2009 Celtics camp invitee, and one time Knicks' lottery pick, Michael Sweetney, twenty-nine, 6'8".

What do we think? Anything more than warm bodies for practice?

Sweetney, again?

Are the Celts engaged in some bizzare research project involving weight loss medication trials?!

Although with the compressed season, and lack of training camp, there will probably be more injuries than normal this year, so these training camp guys could get called up during the course of the season.
Celtics fan for life.

Jamal Sampson is a stud!

I mean he is 6'11 with a high motor + a pretty decent Vertical

He's not afraid to finish around the basket, something that Glen Davis cant do, considering he is fat and very undersized for a PF. Sampson would be a great addidtion to this team

A 1yr vet minimum contract would be sweet, considering we need some athletic bigs to go next to KG + Johnson

Perhaps someone has told the C's and the Heat that one of the tiebreakers this year will be a pie eating contest.

Celtics clearly aiming for character guys who will provide energy and won't be lazy. Doing a nice job I think. They need to keep that cap space and still fill the roster.

Who do you want to invite to training camp.

Are there better guys out there without an NBA job?

Not a bad big man rotation behind KG/JO.  Veteran savvy, interior beef, shot-blocking.

Now if we can just settle this nasty trade business we should be set for Christmas.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler
