It would be nice to have some wing players who can shoot the ball (from the perimeter). What did Jeff Green shoot from 3 last year? 30%. Marquis Daniels, in his two years here, he was what? He was down around 20%, right? And Tony Allen, heck, he was just as bad as M.Daniels was. I miss the days of James Posey and Eddie House knocking down jump shots consistently. Regardless of whether it's Rondo or Paul, it'd be nice if those guys had some (reserve) wings around them that stroke the ball from downtown. Said differently, role players who can give the team adequate spacing offensively.
Why bring this guy back? In 2 seasons with Boston he has not been able to play an entire season. He cannot be depended on and is a walking injury. I wish he would just retire and save us the trouble of having to watch him get hurt once again. What a waste of a roster spotSo far Boston has 2 guys that WILL miss a ton of games in JO and Daniels. I was hoping for someone that we could count on. But it seems we get this tomato can again.

He is a productive bench player when he is healthy, but he is also an injury magnet.DittoDitto.We have to fill 9 spots, for the vet min I have no problem bringing back Marquis to fill one.
