David West for Big Baby S&T

Why is this not being discussed?  Baby wants to go somewhere, like his home state, and start and they are reportedly interested in him too.  David West wants to go to a contender and NO is willing to S&T to do it.  What's the problem?  Nevermind Chris Paul, this is a trade NO would do today I think.  DWest can split time with KG this year and maybe start next, and with luck KG will back him up then.  I'm ok with throwing in Jeff Green and eating Okafor's contract in return, whatever.  Does this trade make sense to only me?

Probably because David West is considerably better than Glen Davis, and worth a much better return than that.

Oh, and there's the fact that he's an unrestricted free agent and it makes more sense for him to earn more on the open market.

Why is this not being discussed? Cause it really doesnt make any sense... First, West will probably get 12 mil annually somewhere. Davis? Hes lucky to get 3, 4 at most...

And throw in Green to eat Okafors salary? Green is about 6 mil and okafor is at 12.5, then 13.5 and 14.5...

So basically we would trade 10 mil in a sign and trade and take back around 24 - 25 for many years to come... One, no thanks. 2, we're already over the cap as it is and finally 3.... its impossible
