 At least he's avoiding the "Marbury" level of public nonsense.

 Aside, but it sucks that he's having issues like that (if it is him).

i have to think the celtics will offer him a vet minimum deal . . . and he seems to like being here.

West can play in the NBA anyday on my team.  It would be foolish to let him get away .  I like what he brings off the bench in that role.

I have to say I'm a little displeased that West hasn't been contacted yet - I figured he would be one of Danny's first phone calls. At least the Lakers haven't called yet, either.

Delonte will be back in the coming weeks

Ive no doubt about it

I thought he was pretty solid last season before he got injured

Yeah, with all their flurry of calls I don't get it. Maybe they have a verbal understanding of each other

Delonte's a troubled young man to be in that position after so many years in the NBA.  I dread to read an unfortunate "whatever happened to" story about him in the Globe 10 or 15 years from now.

i agree. he has how many "dependents" now? i believe it was 13 or so at last count.

i hope he keeps on his meds and recovers his life.
