  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Just something that I think about regarding Chris Paul or Dwight Howard not being interested in coming to Boston.
This organisation has a special way of twisting peoples arms.

"The Boston trade isn't happening," Garnett's agent, Andy Miller, told ESPN.com's Chris Sheridan. "If a trade were to happen, that's not a destination that we're interested in pursuing."

Just some motivation going into a crazy week.
We might lose our beloved point guard- or someone else even.
Just remember the ultimate reason behind everything.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

  • Rondo = Good
im not worried about chris paul's purported desire to be here, or lackthereof.

paul is a competitor; if he gets traded here, he'll play his butt off for at least the one season that he's in green.  being surrounded by the most talented group of players he's been played with certainly ought to help him keep warm during the winter months, too.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Pierce grew up a diehard Laker fan but even he says that playing here is special because of the fans.
