I really dislike Aldrige and his reporting, he isn't careful with details and what player's position or names. I think he's misinformed about everything..

TP. Agree completely. What a terrible piece by Aldridge.

Good, that means they won't get him.

Seems like no one other than Boston is willing to part with their most tradeable pieces. No Gordon, No Curry, no Bynum. Just Rondo.

Dwight is their top priority...CP3 comes next. Bynum is going to be offered in the DH trade.

Yeah this article has all the updated trade proposals and you're right, since Paul isn't sure to sign to any of the teams willing to give up young pieces that would leave us as one of the better offers since well take him without the extension. It also says we are uber-aggressive. Get me Danny!

But how do they get Paul without Bynum? I understand Howard is priority one, but there's not going to be a third piece to their puzzle without Paul, and no Bynum, no Paul.

Kobe's making a ton and doesn't have too many more years left and Howard would also make the max. No room for Paul. Howard wants Paul and vice versa. And is the Laker's situation really any better than ours right now? I don't think so.

for those saying we now have to trade rondo...keep in mind this is for one of the best players in the nba. its not like we're "shopping" rondo. we're willing to trade him for cp3. i'm sure he's a little ticked, but i don't think this is something that will cause us problems if we keep him. rondo's basically untouchable...except for a player that is better than him. any GM worth his weight would think about such a move.

yeah.  that's good news for danny ainge, i think.  the hornets might have to settle for boston's best offer, 3rd team or not.

If this remains the case the Celtics have the best offer, by a clear margin.

yeah.  i really don't think the hornets would go for the "bledsoe - aminu - kaman - twolves pick for cp3 - ariza" deal over the package the celtics can offer.

if they would, they're nuts.

If true, sounds like the Lakers realized there's no way they could get Howard without Bynum, and are moving on to more plausible trade scenarios.

Pretty much my thoughts as well. Twolves pick is a nice incentive, but an unproven PG, an unproven (And in my eyes, not very good) SF and a center who'll be over the hill before they know it?

Not that good of a trade for New Orleans.

Is it me, or does this offseason have some quotes that eerily sound like CelticsBlog Drafts?

"Want superstar point guard, willing to give up my fourth an fifth best player. Think about the depth!"

No ones willing to give up any real talent except the Celtics, and we're the long shot?
