Celtics:  Rondo, Jeff Green, two #1s (including Clippers pick).  Could include Bradley and Moore, as well.

Warriors:  Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Ekpe Udoh.  Waive Biedrins, sign Chandler.

Clippers:  Some combination of DeAndre Jordan, Eric Bledsoe, Minnesota #1, Eric Gordon (reports vary)

Sources: Sam Amick, Woj, and Berger

Those are all strong offers.  The Clips' offer could be the strongest, depending upon who they include.

If Gordon is included (conflicting reports), then LAC has the best offer. NO won't get an offer better than that.

I have seen no reports which say Eric Gordon + Minny's pick are included in the same package. It has either been one or the other.

If that holds true, then the C's package is the best. But New Orleans have are not interested in it.

If I was Paul arent you thinking you want Gordon there

This is not about what Paul is thinking...its about what Dell Demps can get in return for his team.

  • Rondo = Good
i don't think LA will trade Eric Gordon.  not when they can't be certain CP3 will re-sign there.

i have to think the warriors will have some misgivings about trading the farm and the horse and carriage too without getting any guarantees that they'll have paul long term.

i think all that the celtics need is to get a third team to agree to swap assets the hornets like for rondo and they'll end up as the only team truly willing to give up all of their assets for a potential one-year rental.

am I the only one who thinks the celtics giving up Rondo, Jeff Green and BOTH their #1 picks with no guarantee of signing an extension adn staying with boston is a BAD trade??

Rondo for CP3, or even rondo+Jeff green for Cp3 is at least fair..

this would be a HUGE gamble...if CP3 walks next year we are left with NOTHING including no draft picks to build from

Celtics best offer. Quality>Quantity Rajon Rondo best player of the bunch. He's locked up for a bargain price. Jeff Green "Mr. Average" is a decent complimentary player. He could flourish with more playing time. The icing on the cake 2 first round picks.

I'm baffled that The New Orleans Hornets are not accepting Celtics package. Is Rondo lack of a outside Jumper that big of a drawback?

yea but if they give up too much and he doesnt commit to sign there then it probably doesnt get done

Where did you get that from? Teams are willing to take the risk and sign him without any commitment from I'm reading.

Wow, surprised by that.

I would have thought that GSW would have insisted on a contract guarantee. Massive risk.

Who knows at this point.  There is a LOT of conflicting information right now, a lot of reporters throwing things against the wall, and likely a lot of "sources" either playing games, or speaking on things they don't really know.

Both teams would be making very poor decisions if either of them made this trade without an extension or assured knowledge of an extension (should be ruled out).

Boston is the only team that it makes sense for since there is clear upside in making them stronger contenders this season.  Neither LAC nor GS would contend this year, they have both been terrible for several years now, but have some bright future pieces to lead them out of their losing eras, and would be risking losing it all if CP doesn't resign.

I'm not saying these reports aren't true, but both GMs would be making borderline idiotic offers if they are true.

If Gordon is out... then LAC's offer is pretty crap, no?
