The Saginaw News in Michigan, hometown of Jason Richardson, reports that the unrestricted free agent has strong suitors in Chicago, Boston, and Golden State. Each location makes a lot of sense. Richardson has hinted that he very much wants to contend for a title, and as a three-point threat who can defend at least decently, particularly in a stronger system, hes going to have huge value. The Bulls would find a lot of value in his perimeter range and ability to body 2s effectively. In short, he's a major upgrade over Keith Bogans, without the baggage that comes with Vince Carter or Tracy McGrady, and in their price range as opposed to Arron Afflalo.

  • Rondo = Good
If he wants to take a pay-cut, I don't know why he wouldn't sign in Chicago instead, unless they chose to sign Arron Afflalo instead.

J-Rich could be a starter -- and a key contributor -- to the Bulls, and the Bulls have to be considered a stronger contender for the title than Boston, given their success in the regular season and post-season compared to the Celtics last year.

CBS Sports went a bit overboard calling the Celts "a strong suitor" based upon the report in the Michigan paper.  As linked on the front page, the report was more along the lines of "the Celtics are rumored to be interested", rather than that we're a particularly strong option.

Similar to how the Knicks were likely trading partners for Cp3, the Lakers are poised to get Cp3 and Dwight or that Tyson Chandler could go to the Heat. Indications of interests by teams that have no shot of happening unless the player takes an outlandish pay cut. I'm shocked this wasn't a Chris Broussard story since everything he's written this season shows his startling lack of cap knowledge/value.

We should dump Ray Allen who is 36 and his $10mill contract and go after J-Rich

why we continue to keep these old guys is beyond me. Trade now and get this over with

I think we are being used to drive up price as usual.
