I like Rondo, but I think he pretty much is what he is. I don't view him as a "face of the franchise" type of player, and wonder if there is more to this "attitude" stuff that seems to have swirled around him, all the way back to his days with Kentucky. If we could get Paul, being the first domino to drop for other moves to take this team forward following the KG/Ray/Pierce era then I'd be all for it.
