I hope this doesn't happen because if it does can't see how they aren't the heavy favorites. The trio of Kobe, Gasoline and Paul would make me sick.

I could see that happening and Dwight just going to the Nets to play with Deron as they've been talking.

The deal I guess could be for Pau or Bynum, also Magic is thinking a trade as well in other news from sources that could land Dwight in LA smh

Bynum is the most logical piece to move this offseason for a superstar. Makes sense.

I can understand Bynum..but Gasol doesn't make a lot of sense when it was reported that Hornets want younger players in return.

I don't see why CP would sign an extension there.  I don't think he's a good fit there and their cap situation is absolutely terrible over what would be the prime of his career.  And if he doesn't sign an extension, I don't see how LAL makes that gamble.

We also learn that Dwight Howard doesn't love Chicago because of the weather.  I guess that rules the Celts out.  :P

Any GM that would trade Chris Paul for Andrew Bynum should be permanently disqualified from GM duties. There are only a handful of players I would consider if I were trading Chris Paul.

Rondo, Derron and Rose
* All would be good value for Paul

Wade, Joe Johnson, Durant, Granger + players, top 5 young PF's or Brook Lopez + players and picks type of trade...

Not only is Andrew Bynum completely injury prone, what's worse is that he carries himself like a complete punk on the court. He has like the Isaiah Thomas bug - just somethign isn't quite right with him.

To be honest I wouldn't want Bynum on my team if you gave him to me. I really think that little of him as a guy I'd build a team with.

NO doing that trade would just be mind boggling to me.

Now a Michael Westbrook + players for Paul and change - that's getting close to making sense.

Look, I'm not saying that if I could choose to play anywhere in the country for 10 million+ dollars a year you best believe that I'm going south of the mason-dixon but...

if the lakers could pull off a trade for cp3 and emeka okafor while only giving up bynum out of its core players, the lakers would be primed to dominate.  they'd be head and shoulders above every other team.

Yeah, they could easily role out a lineup of:

Okafor
Gasol
Battier or Prince or Hill or ?
Kobe
Paul

Good luck beating that team.  </Vomit>.

Why would OKC trade one star a year away from potential FA when they could easily have a similar situation for Bynum in a year when his contract comes up. Especially since Bynum isn't cheap anywyas.

It'd have to be a three way deal of some sort.

This works if Hornets use the amnesty clause on Metta World Peace and Walton retires. LA also has Sasha's TE.
