Too many football threads. This is crunch time!

Free Agent Centers:

1. T. Chandler
2. Nene
3. S. Dalembert
4. J. Foster
5. K. Brown
6. C. Hayes
7. A. Gray
8. J. Przybilla
9. A. Ajinca
10. J. Magliore
F. Ellison
K. Fesenko
D.J. Mbenga

Hope Danny is being aggressive here. Need size. Would settle for Foster, Brown or Gray. Either take Hayes or BBD - can't have both.

Oden is restricted.

Thoughts, hopes, dreams?

And Foster is definitely settling.  I'd rather a hustle big from the D-league than Foster.  No interest at all.

I'm happy with a platoon of big "bigs" with the huevos to foul the hell out of Lebron when he goes to the hole...a la McHale/Rambis.

No sissies.

Foster is supposed to be signing with the Knicks for $5 mil MLE.
Not sure of the length of the contact proposed.

It was a one year deal. I believe the report was that the Knicks are ready to offer the deal but it said nothing about Foster's intentions. Whether he'll accept it or not.

I still expect him to return to Indiana. He has said on several occasions (including just the other day) that he'd love to finish his career with the club he has played for his entire caree.

Platoon of enforcers is not a bad idea.  We don't get the calls anyways.  Why not roll the dice on a few bigs brutalize LeBron it could get into his head?   However, this kind of play isn't kosher in the league anymore.  I desperately wanted to see someone clean Wade's clock after he hurt Rondo and tried to leg ship Pierce.  It didn't happen.

Not with the old, brittle, thin front line we trotted out last year...

With the talent pool of bigs limited, look for heart, I say.

We can beat Mia with a big who will hit them (LeBrenda) hard! When Shaq hit them, they stopped coming in there! When Shaq couldn't get off the floor and give them a bang, they kept going in there! Get a big ready to give them a spine chill! Wade doesn't care, he will keep going in but Legina won't, that to me is one reason Dallas was so successful against them, they weren't soft... that is why they beat LA like they stole something, too soft inside!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Kwame Brown and Joel Pryzbillia would be my realistic best case scenario.

Foster is the definition of a hustle big.  What do you think he's in the league for?
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale
