"The Lakers have interest in Delonte West, who played for coach Mike Brown in Cleveland and last played for Boston, as a potential fill-in at guard and also are keen on Indiana free agent Josh McRoberts, according to a source with knowledge of their thinking. ESPN.com's Marc Stein reported that Denver free-agent guard Arron Afflalo is also on the Lakers' radar"

I would be disapointed if Delonte left us for the Lakers.
Jack of all trades, master of none.

they don't have much to offer him, so they're not going to get him.

Yeah that would be a slap in the face. They would only get him if they offered him more than the minimum and even then maybe he would stay. He seems to like it in Boston and seems to be a loyal guy.

That's just dirty.  They just want to drive up the price to make it more difficult for us to re-sign him.

Dirty, dirty, bleepin' Lakers.

If I could throw up (I've only done it about 5 times in my life and I'm 29) I would, if this were to happen!! Please, God, DA, and DW (or any other team/not mia either), don't let this happen!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Well if the Celtics can express interest in the Lakers' free agents, I guess we should expect interest in the Celtics' free agents by the Lakers.

Even when physically healthy, Delonte is not reliable.

Sorry, we can't ill afford to pay Delonte anything more than then the minimum.

The Lakers should have signed Delonte West last season. Good upgrade over Derek Fisher and a really nice fit alongside Kobe Bryant and those two seven footers with his shooting ability.

Delonte would be an excellent addition to the Lakers.

No Delonte, don't go to the lakers! As a side note, can you imagine Ron Artest and Dwest on the same team? Also, how do the lakers think they can get Affialo? They can't pay him, and he would be Kobe's backup.

im not too worried. the lakers arent going to be able to offer Delonte anything more than the minimum..

and he seems like a loyal guy who had his first stable year(mentally) in awhile in Boston. I think he stays for the Minimum if its between boston and any other team who gives him the same offer

They could and should offer Delonte West the mini-MLE.

It's very unlikely that anyone would match that offer never mind top it. Even a one-year contract would likely be enough to get his signature.

As a starting guard playing 30-35 minutes a night, Delonte is worth $4-5 million a year. The Lakers would be getting him at a very good price at $3mil per.

Lakers have a very good ability to target great value FA's.  I give them a lot of credit on this.  Those two guys are both very good; I sure hope we get to hang on to Delonte.

they have about the same ability we do...minimum contracts and promise that they will go far in the playoffs...I still think Delonte given with that choice chooses boston

They can have him. I'll personally deliver him to LA. Stay away from West! Ugh.
