As pointed out by mmmmm, with such a short training camp, experience in the system will be a plus.  Here's the guys who are either under their control, or played on the team last year:
1 - Rondo, Arroyo, Avery
2 - Ray, Delonte, Wafer, Moore
3 - Paul, Marquis, Sasha
4 - KG, Green, Jajuan
5 - JO, Murphy

It's actually not a bad roster, but as usual there's not enough depth at the 4/5.  To me, the key would be Troy Murphy.  If he could legitimately back up Jermaine (who would need to stay healthy) then this is a team that could compete, but would exit the playoffs before the ECF, most likely.

Replace any two of Wafer, Daniels and Pavlovic with Davis and Kwame Brown, or even Chuck Hayes or Kyrylo Fesenko, and, I say, yes, that team is absolutely a contender.
