And all likelihood, he is still in the best shape of anyone on the team.  Wouldn't be surprised to see him keep it up at a high level for a few more years.

Allen is indeed a class act.  He's the kind of guy I would like to see stay around Boston after retirement, I think he has a lot to offer the community.  The only thing with Ray and me is he's the Celtic crush for a lot of the women I hang out with.  Enter petty jealousy.  So there's some appreciation there from "pink hats" lol.

  Oh Ray Ray!

By the way, why isn't Avery Bradley in the gym with him?

I can understand JJ (no contract yet), or any of our free agents, or KG / Pierce.  I'm less forgiving of Green or Rondo, but they're established NBA players.  Bradley, though, should be back in Waltham and working out daily and nightly.

Isn't he in Israel right now?

Yes.

And Jeff Green shouldn't work out with the Cs until he has a contract in place.
Ray Allen is alone in the gym.    No reason Jeff can't shoot baskets, run on a treadmill, and lift weights.  And watch video.

I am glad that Ray is working out.  That guy's a physical and basketball shooting freak, but let's not start making assumptions about how hard or not hard the rest of the players on the roster are working based on where Ray Allen is tonight.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Ray is so essential to our team's success that I would argue he is the most important player on the roster.

I know Pierce brings the scoring, the leadership, KG the defense and his intensity, and Rondo a lot of things, but without Ray's shooting touch and durability our offensive game would simply be one of the worst in the league in my opinion.

This makes me wonder what Ray's contract expectations will be after this season. What do people think?

I would expect that he has a preference to remain in Boston, but wouldn't hold it against him if he was working out knowing that he's playing for his next contract.

"      “I can make a trade every day if I want to, but that's not going to help us. A trade that would get us better rarely comes along. They're very difficult to find. Good trades are very difficult in our league and don't happen very often.”

I think Bradley will be part of a trade.  He was cut from israel team...doesn't sound like his nba chances are any better than last year when he looked like a college freshman

I think Ray might have an addiction to Celtics basketball.

I think I might have it too!!

Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.
