I have a feeling this is going to be his big breakout year I've watched him in a couple of the charity games and he has looked awesome. I cannot wait for this season to start. We better lock him up right now hopefully Danny's working on that. He's going to be big for us mark it.

I'm excitied about using him in a S&T.  As far as his propects on returning to the C's, consider me extremly pessimistic he will be a contirbuter.  Not a Jeff Green fan.

I am not excited about Jeff Green, but I am guardedly optimistic. This upcoming season is the best opportunity that he is ever going to get to show what he can do, we are thin everywhere and will need everything that he has to offer.

Saw the thread title and was about to post that I was guardedly optimistic (exact words). So you get a TP for saying it first.

  • Rondo = Good
I think he is what he is and to expect much more than we've already seen from him is unrealistic.

My hope is that he can play a full, healthy season for us and get totally comfortable with his role and the team's system.

I am excited about what he could mean in terms of trade material.

I believe with another year in this system he will defend better and will be more aggressive offensively because he will know his role.  Also Doc will have a better feel of his strengths and should have him more incorporated into the offense this time around.

So yes I believe we will see a better Jeff Green if he is back in Boston this season.

That excites me a little bit but I don't see him as a long term replacement for any of the Big Three.

I am for sure I think it'll be a HUGE improvement from last year so much so that he can average 15+ ppg this season he'll be more aggressive nd play wit more of a chip on his shoulder due to all the backlash he got from the fans

I'm a little excited cause I've seen him play a lot and he's better than he was for the C's last year. I expect him to be almost too aggressive so we'll see if that's a good thing or not haha.

My main concern is that I think we'll overpay him. In OKC he was asking for near max money and I can't fathom giving him more than 7-8 mill a year. He'll probably get 9 which I guess isn't completely terrible.

I have little excitement about Jeff Green, other than I hope Danny can package him and pick up a quality player or two.

well no one really plays defense in the charity games but I can say this

everyone knows Jeff is athletic, its just he was too passive during post trade. We need Green to be more aggressive and meaner...

to be honest, I think Baby walks and we resign Jeff

And i kinda don't want to see us sign much FA, so we can give Jajuan some more playing time...

for some reason i have a feeling Rondo Jeff and Jajuan will be fun to watch

I have a lot of the same feelings. Baby most likely walks. It seems like they're definitely going to sign Green. He'll be more aggressive but I don't know if that will work out very well for him, we'll see.

I really think this board is going to go crazy for Johnson. I think he's going to really impress some people but I'm still 50/50 on whether or not he'll really be ready for this level right away.

he already got praises from Rondo and actually watching him in person during the harvard charity game, i gotta say

Johnson moves well and have range...shot some 3s (regular 3 pt line)

yeh i know they play no defense, but its nice to know he has that kind of range...want to see his post moves though...

i can see this kid going under KG's wings and being a very similar player as KG

JJJ is probably not ready, but it's not like there is a buffet of alternatives. BBD might be gone, KG can't do 30+ MPG anymore, the C's only have mini-MLE/trades/vetmins to work with, and Center is way more important.

Trial by fire, baby.
