I don't understand why that happened. 'Cause of the flower in the face? Guess the old timers have a short temper.

Old, old grudge.  Fat guy put a dirty out-of-bounds hit on skinny guy's running back in a Grey Cup match like 50 years ago, probably cost them a championship.

Sad that this is the coverage the CFL gets. Well better than thinking about my Bombers losing.

The backstory is Mosca, a linebacker injured Kapp, the QB's running back in the 63 championship. Kapp is still upset. Mosca is a HOF but also a little nuts. Kapp too. Oh same Kapp that played QB for the Vikings.

Old guy or not, he still threw a nice hard punch that knocked the guy down.

Actually I think canes like that don't hurt that much.   Neither does a pool cue if you know a trick.  You close the distance so the end does not hit you and the end is where all the velocity is , so you avoid that end they are a joke.  It's counterintuitive but it works.  Pool balls smart but skinny sticks not so much.   I think the punch to the throat area had more damage potential.  I was a bouncer and a soldier and in over 26 bar fights back in the day.
