Kendrick Perkins jersey! help me out!

whats good Celtic nation? I'm a 16 year old Celtics fan from Norway, and one of my (by far) favoruite players, is (as you might guessed, watching my name on this forum) Kendrick Perkins.. And I've always felt a hunger, sort of, for buying a KP jersey.

So, my goal this past summer was to buy a Perk jersey, because I visited Boston, for 3 days.. but of course, that was impossible to find, after he got traded. And it seems pretty unlikely that I'll ever get a shot at an (unused) Perk jersey, in green.. I tried to customize one, in the NBA store.. but it wont let me, because he's not a member of our team no more.

So i need you guys to help me out with something.. should I purchase the OKC #5 jersey.. to support my role model, and fav. player?? .. its tough, becuase its not a Celtics jersey, and it says "Perkins", but there's no number 43.. Should I buy it? Would you have done the same?

you can still customize it in the NBA store, you can choose Perk but you can customize by putting his number and name

yeah, just tried it myself, and got all the way to the checkout.  seems to work to me.

you have to manually type in "Perkins" and then select #43

The problem is, I think these jerseys are ugly as sin.  They're not the style the players wear, I don't know why they continue to make these year after year.  It's the way the shoulder is cut.  To me, there's such a huge difference in the way these jerseys look, the top one's ugly, the bottom one is the style to go for:
