Fifty bucks seems steep, and I'm way too steamed about the lockout to forfeiting that money over.

My thoughts. I'd love to go, but $50 is too much for me  :-\

I'm incredibly pumped that they are finally holding a game here.  I saw this last night but didn't spread the word until I was able to secure my tickets.  The box office phone line was busy for 2 hours this morning but I was finally able to break through and got two tickets!

I honestly don't understand being angry over the lockout.  The guys don't owe me a thing.  If they play they make money, if not they won't.  I'm not giving them money for nothing in return.  I think saturday will be an awesome event.  If you consider 50 bucks compared to what you pay at the Garden, the cost isn't that steep.  Plus, this will be a small gym where you will see the players up close in almost a high school setting.  How can it get any better given the lockout?

An actual competitive game that's played well beginning to end.

I guess I'd prefer to spend half that money on a bottle of whiskey and plug in 2k12.

for those complaining of the $50... you do realize this is a CHARITY game right? as in a significant portion of your money goes to CHARITY, you know... a good cause?

An undefined charity without a breakdown of the percentage that'll end up going to the charities.

Considering the arena only seats a little over 2,000 people and its helping to benefit charity (with that capacity, you really can't charging that much less), $50 or even $100 for courtside is a steal, IMO, given some of the names that are going to be there.

As a fan I am angry at the lockout, but seeing the guys play are two completely different things...

As to how they will use that money and how much % they use for charity, I do not know but I put my trust on whoever is hosting it...

Really? you find the players of the team you cheer for to be so untrustworthy that you're calling into question their intent here? That they are somehow making money off of this? Wow...
