It's possible the Bobcats gave up on Adam too soon, but Adam's injury didn't help his case either.

I don't think so. He just doesn't have the athleticism to play in the NBA. In other leagues he can manage and be productive, but I don't see it happening in the NBA.

I agree with you, but a rookie season and then the guy gets hurt in is sophomore season and then gets traded in a snap.

I really think a top 10 pick deserves more leeway.

I don't Morrison had nothing to do with race.  He was a great college ball player who didn't pan out in the pros.   I am curious why you would even bring up race because I mention it nowhere.

I disagree, better to move on quickly on a draft bust than pick up an expensive third year option and devote valuable minutes to him.

I don't believe the racial comments were directed at you, rather Whitlock's article.

Celtics4ever, if you were referring to my post, I was referring to Whitlock's idiotic comments.

Jordan is way above playing the race card, IMHO.  This situation isn't about race at all.  Idiots like Whitlock, Hill, and Bryant Gumbel play the race card because their racist pea brains bring nothing substanative to the table.

Billy Hunter took a jab at Jordan today, saying: "I would give him the advice he gave Abe Pollin...take your own advice."

That advice, during the 98 lockout, was (paraphrased) "If you can't stop making bad decisions long enough to make a profit, sell your team."  Nice one by Hunter, and pretty well expresses how I feel.

At the same time, Hunter got his jab in, while the owners are getting the players to give back $300 million per year in revenue.  So, Jordan doesn't look *too* bad right now.

Np, I didn't understand.   I genuinely was hoping Morrison would do ok in the pros.  I thought he was fun to watch in college with the hair and stache and socks and I was pulling for him to overcome the diabetes and all.

That being said I only root for the C's.  But I liked him some during my personal scouting of the college ranks.   I would not have picked him that high but I would have wasted a lower first round pick on him in all honesty.

Only if the deal gets signed.  But if it does, I hope the extra $ is enough insurance to protect Jordan the Investor from Jordan the Decision-maker.
