I'm trying to gather ANY information (recaps, boxscores, articles, books, videos, pictures...) about the Warriors-121 - Celtics-106 game (January 2, 1981)to write an article about it. Yes, it was that Bird horrendous game. Thank you so much in advance!

I haven't read all these (I think a lot are duplicates written by either the AP or UPI, but some have pictures, though they're crappy.  So maybe some of these will help:

Also, Celtics.com has a few historical box scores, while they don't have the game you're looking for posted, maybe you could try emailing the website or Marc D'Amico directly since he's the one that posts them (I found him on LinkedIn) and ask if they can post (or just provide you with) the box score you're looking for.  In my experience, just making a few phone calls or emails often gets me surprisingly good results.

you can always go to your local library and check the records for the paper. i did that for a school project maybe 15 years ago when what i was looking for was still on micro film. dont know the current cost but back then you could print the page out for maybe 30 cents.

Larry Bird
7-21 FG

5-8 FT

13 REB

3 AST

19 PTS

Not the best shooting night for Larry, but I wouldn't say that is a bad stat line...

TP bdm.

Red, I'm writing about it because the fact has always called my attention, one of the biggest stars ever unable to score. Not many people know about it here in Spain.

317, not possible in spanish libraries, I guess.

Thank you all.
