What Up :D!

There is some crazy rumors going on from the Chinese Basket ball league!

"Marc Stein: Quiet expectation in Chinese basketball circles is that Wilson Chandler and J.R. Smith will be released by teams there when NBA lockout ends"

And from J.R's Twitter!
"JR Smith: Didn't sign up for this..."

And some K-Mart :D
"Marc Stein: But two sources who know Chinese market well say management of Kenyon Martin's team (Xinjiang) will insist K-Mart spends whole season w/them"

Well this is actually great news for us! It would be great if we signed one of these two guys :D!

And in some other news Avery Bradley is getting replaced by former Celtic Marcus Banks..
"Sources reveal NBA guard Marcus Banks is looking to replace Avery Bradley in Jerusalem, however, deal's still in it's diaper"
Getting cut after one game aint good news...
Jack of all trades, master of none.

Wilson Chandler is a restricted free agent and his rights will be owned by the Nuggets once he returns. Smith and Martin are unrestricted and if they are released are free to sign with whoever they want.

Martin would be a good sign for a min contract but he'll want more I am sure and the C's will need the MLE for center options.

Does Bradley have more leverage than Banks? Banks can at least show other teams his body of work. Perhaps Banks is more desperate for a job abroad with nothing lined up here.

If you were a professional team, would you want to be the place where a mediocre player is "improving his game", while he waits for the lockout to end?  These are not minor league affiliates, they are trying to win games.  My guess is his agent sold him as a much more complete player than he really is.

And Banks in comparison is a complete player who no longer needs improvement? Anyway you look at it, this is not a good sign for Bradley imo. Marcus Banks was horrible and had an almost zero basketball IQ. Losing out to him is hard to do for any NBA player.

Could be reading it wrong, but what I'm seeing is that they'll be released from the teams they are on in China when the lockout is over.. Not their NBA teams. Again, could be reading it the wrong way, but it doesn't make a ton of sense for DEN to release both of them. Well, at least not Wilson Chandler who is a restricted FA..

On the other hand I would love to see JR Smith in green, the guy can flat out light it up from outside and give us some scoring off the bench.. If only he'd play D....

The news that he would get cut came after Hapoel Jerusalem's 2nd game where Bradley played and had a single point output. However, he played on the team's 3rd game (which they lost by 2 points) and scored 21 points. Bradley to me seems fine. Maybe he could be hearing news that the lockout will soon end.
