I have a strange feeling that this is not going to end well for anybody, players, fans, and owners.

Once again, J.R. Smith Kenyon Martin, and Wilson Chandler are proving to be lockout savants.

Is it time to change the thread title to "Bad News: Sides could only ever get to 95% complete. Negotiations over."

the players are going to LOSE this and they are going to lose hard...they are going to lose their paychecks for a season and probably going to have to take a worse deal...remember how well decertifying the union worked out for the NFL? the players lost that....and the players union lost to the owners in the NHL lockout....right now they are just being stubborn.

word has it ALOT of small market owners including Michael Jordan were hoping the Union would decertify so they could

the union really has no leverage...if they think the owners are going to back off and give them what they want, they are going to find out the hard way.

this is the best offer the union was going to get....and they didnt even let the rank and file players at least vote on it

Not really. Its a top 10 protected pick and LA had the 5th worst record last year. If they leave the draft process the same as last year we don't get that pick until 2013

They couldn't leave the draft the same, could they?  Wouldn't that just mean the Cavs get the top pick again?

They could just leave the seedings the same and redo the lottery draw. That seems to make the most sense. And as long as the Clips are the 5th seeded team, the C's don't get the pick.
